Summer Games (Olympic Theme)

Welcome:

We are excited that you and your child have chosen Hargis Christian Camp for Summer 2022.  Each week your child will participate in fun, entertaining activities with a Christ-centered focus including our theme each week, large group morning huddle/bible time, and small group huddle/prayer at the end of each day.   Your child will have the opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills, and connect with leaders who will encourage them to be all that God created them to be.

Safety:

Your child’s safety is the cornerstone of our camp.  We have a 10:1 ratio (Campers to Counselor).  Each counselor is background checked and goes through a rigorous training prior to serving as a camp counselor for Hargis Christian Camp.  Each day you will sign your child IN and OUT at our monitored check in area.   On the first day of camp you will write the name of each person that you permit to pick up your child on any afternoon.  Whoever is picking up your child will need to present their driver’s license at the time of pickup.  Medical information regarding allergies, special considerations/needs for your child will be included with the registration materials and shared with your child’s lead counselor.

9:15 Large Group Chapel/Bible time

9:45   Snack/Restroom Break

10:00 Arts/Crafts

10:30 Hiking

11:00  Lunch

11:30 Choice 1 Activity

12:15 Pool Swim

1:00 Canoes

1:45 Afternoon Huddle/Prayer

2:00 Snack/Restroom

2:15 Large Group Worship/Skits

3:00 Dismissal

Activities:

Canoes Arts/Crafts Games/Relays

Pool Swim Sports Hiking

Lake Swim Chapel/Bible Time Fishing

Ages of Campers:

Rising 1st Grade-Rising 6th Grade

Weekly Cost:

$195 per child

Cost includes camp 9-3pm daily, 2 snacks and a t-shirt.  Campers are required to bring their own lunch.
